Standard five-layer sintered mesh consists of five layers of stainless steel mesh stacked on top of each other and vacuum sintered. A filter element made from such a mesh has high corrosion resistance, good permeability, high strength, ease of cleaning and backwashing, uniform filtration accuracy, hygienic filter material and no mesh delamination.
The mesh cells of each layer of the sintered mesh filter element overlap each other, forming a homogeneous and ideal filter structure, due to which the material acquires advantages unattainable for a conventional metal mesh - high strength, good rigidity, stability of the shape of the cells. The ability to rationally select and design the pore size, permeability and strength characteristics of the material provides excellent filtration accuracy, filtration resistance, mechanical strength, wear resistance, heat resistance and workability. In terms of the totality of its properties, this material is superior to other types of filter materials.
