China International Chemical Equipment Exhibition 2026

On June 9, the China International Chemical and Petrochemical Equipment Exhibition CTEF 2026 opened at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. The event lasts 3 days, the total exhibition area is 70,000 m². More than a thousand leading enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions (Germany, Great Britain, USA, South Korea, Japan, etc.) are participating in the exhibition; professional buyers came from 41 countries; 88 foreign purchasing delegations work at the site. Buyer demand covers three key areas: agrochemicals and mineral fertilizers, chlor-alkali and basic chemical industries, new energy and new materials.
Among the exhibitors are 67 global industry leaders, a number of Chinese public and state holding companies.
BASF presented the latest chemical processes and environmental solutions; Sulzer showcases centrifugal pumps and compressors with nearly 200 years of development history; SPX presented equipment for stirring, mixing, heat transfer and separation of media.
The "sole production champion" of the national industry, Shandong Haimai, exhibited silicon carbide heat exchangers, multi-flow spiral heat exchangers, centrifugal and piston compressors.
China's rare metals market leader Western Metal Materials also took part in the exhibition. Also present at the site are key industry players: Zhangqiu Fan Plant (Shandong Province), Chongqing Jiangzeng Heavy Industry of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Chongqing Chuanyi and other enterprises.
The exhibition brought together 22 industry clusters for the production of chemical equipment: “Titanium Valley of China” Baoji (Shaanxi Province), “Valve City of China” Longwan (Wenzhou), “Pump Capital of China” Boxian (Zibo), “Homeland of Column Nozzles” Pingxiang (Jiangxi Province) and others. The event ensures complete synergy of the industrial ecosystem from raw materials to the final application of products.
Simultaneously with the exhibition, the International Congress of Innovation and Development of Chemical Equipment of China 2026 is being held. Within the framework of the congress, a special session on international industrial cooperation was organized for the first time; The CTEF Golden Gear Award Ceremony for Chemical Equipment was held (third season). More than 20 high-level forums and seminars were also held: a seminar on intelligent operation and increasing energy efficiency of chemical enterprises, the eighth technical forum on deep purification and recycling of chemical waste, a forum on the use and innovation of heat pumps for rectification and energy saving, and others. Topics of discussion: digital twins and predictive maintenance, zero discharge of high-salinity effluents, equipment replacement with heat pumps, MVR evaporation and crystallization and other energy-saving and low-carbon technologies.
Conducted targeted purchasing sessions "A thousand enterprises to foreign markets - Shandong trade around the world", national purchasing sessions for Indonesia and other countries to effectively interact between supply and demand.
