Titanium rod filter elements (tubular and tile) are made from industrial high-purity titanium powder (99.4%). The technological process includes fractionation, cold isostatic pressing molding and sintering at high temperature in high vacuum. Thanks to high-tech raw materials and special molding technology, the products have outstanding performance properties:
1. Homogeneous structure, narrow pore size distribution range, high phase separation efficiency.
2. High porosity, low filtration resistance, high throughput.
3. Heat resistance, stable operation at temperatures up to 280 °C.
4. High chemical stability, resistance to acid-base corrosion, oxidation resistance.
5. No detachment of solid particles, eliminating secondary contamination of the original liquid, meets the sanitary standards of the food industry and GMP requirements of pharmaceutical production.
6. Excellent mechanical performance, suitable for pressure filtration and vacuum filtration, easy to operate.
7. Low pressure drop, compact dimensions, high flow rate of the passed medium.
8. High resistance to microorganisms, does not enter into chemical interactions with them.
9. Perfect molding technology, one-piece product without welds up to 1000 mm long.
10. Possibility of regeneration without dismantling, easy cleaning, long service life (several times higher than that of membrane filters).
Due to their unique properties, filter elements are widely used in pharmaceuticals, water treatment, food industry, biotechnology, chemical industry, petrochemicals, metallurgy and gas purification. This is a promising new structural material. Typical Applications:
1. Pharmaceuticals: carbon filtration at the stage of concentrated preparation of infusion solutions, injections, eye drops, oral medications; protective filtration before final cleaning at the dilution stage.
2. Production of pharmaceutical substances: filtration to remove impurities, carbon and fine purification of process media.
3. Water treatment: protective filtration of ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, electrodeionization systems; cleaning after ozone sterilization and ozone aeration.
4. Food and beverage industry: clarifying filtration of soft drinks, vodka, beer, vegetable oils, mineral water, soy sauce, vinegar.
5. Chemical industry: carbon and fine filtration of liquid products, raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates; extraction of ultrafine particles and catalysts by filtration; final cleaning after sorption on resins; removal of impurities from coolants and process media; purification of catalytic gases.
6. Oil industry: filtration of circulating formation water; protective filtration before reverse osmosis in seawater desalination plants.
7. Dye production: high temperature carbon filtration and removal of kaolin impurities.
8. Gas purification: filtration of steam, compressed air, catalytic gas streams.
